Requirements

At least 2 years of experience working with oncology patients in a clinical setting.
A two-year degree in Medical Assisting or LPN.
Prior experience in high-level customer service roles within the healthcare sector.
Familiarity with surgery scheduling.
Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Empathy.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in handling insurance authorizations.
Proficiency in software tools such as Athena and EPIC.
Background in infertility care.

Responsibilities

Play a vital role in enhancing patient care by collaborating directly with our dedicated patient care team to develop tailored infertility treatment plans.
Efficiently enter orders and schedule patients for appointments and surgical procedures within our EHR system, ensuring seamless access to necessary services and tests.
Coordinate workflow across interdisciplinary teams, such as radiology and imaging, to facilitate optimal patient experiences.
Guide patients through the scheduling of procedures, surgical preparations, and insurance requirements.
Ensure all necessary consents, pre-certifications, and referrals are in place.
Confirm that patients have the appropriate medications and prescriptions for their treatments.
Provide crucial pre- and post-operative surgical education, ensuring a smooth and informed journey for every patient.
