About The Position

Join a highly respected, established physician-owned and led organization with strong ties to the University of Washington. This is an opportunity to practice a full spectrum of Infectious Diseases (ID) cases, including general ID consultative services (inpatient and outpatient), outpatient hospital follow-ups, HIV care (currently 280 patients), travel medicine, infection control/prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, and tele-consultation to support rural clinics. The role involves interesting disease pathology, including occasional tropical medicine cases. The organization attracts excellent, well-trained physicians with high retention. The team provides services to patients in a 4-county area.

Requirements

  • BC/BE Infectious Diseases physician
  • Strong, collegial team player
  • Ability to provide services to patients in a 4-county area
  • Willingness to cover rotating week blocks (clinic or hospital)
  • Experience with full spectrum of ID cases (excluding Transplant ID)
  • Experience with HIV care
  • Experience with travel medicine
  • Experience with infection control/prevention
  • Experience with antimicrobial stewardship
  • Experience with tele-consultation
