About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for a role focused on wound management. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The practice involves bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, with comprehensive physician-level wound management training and a fellowship program. Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. This is a mobile practice where physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR at the point of care. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
