About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Infectious Disease Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visit two to three facilities per day, and treat approximately 20–30 patients daily. This is a mobile practice covering facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time work Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., or part-time work. Full-time physicians work four to five days per week; part-time physicians commit to at least three days per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Physicians receive training from wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors and use current wound care technologies and modalities. This is a W-2 employment position; work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Active, full, and unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commitment to work at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
