The OHSU Division of Infectious Diseases is a group of academic physicians and allied health professionals specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and related disorders. Requirements

• MD degree
• Infectious Diseases (ID) board certified or qualified to take exams
• Completed ID Fellowship
• Experienced MD in Infectious Diseases

Responsibilities

• Work as a specialist in Infectious Diseases (ID) within the Department of Medicine, with clinical duties as assigned by the Division Head.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical service.
• Rotate service time between four inpatient general ID consultation services – three OHSU services and a separate Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC) service - for a total of 16-20 weeks per year, which includes day, night and weekend coverage.
• Conduct 2-3 half-day outpatient clinics per week while not attending on the inpatient service.
• Share in the responsibility of calls assigned through the shared coverage of OHSU’s consult line.
• Teach medical students, residents, and ID fellows in the clinical setting and through assigned lectures.
• Develop scholarly activities in areas of expertise and interest.
• Participate in departmental management and serve on institutional committees.
