Identifies, investigates and records data concerning healthcare associated infections, epidemiologically significant organisms and state reportable diseases. Initiates control measures as authorized by designated committees. Works independently with computer/internet access, managing multiple priorities in a physical environment that houses the hospital system's Quality Department.

Requirements

1-3 years' experience in Infection Prevention and Control

Nice To Haves

Masters in Public Health or RN preferred.
Certification in Infection Control preferred
