As the Infection Control Nurse, this individual will be responsible for preventing and controlling the spread of infectious diseases in our healthcare facility. This includes developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures, conducting surveillance activities, and educating staff and patients on infection control practices. The Infection Control Nurse will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that high standards of infection prevention and control are maintained and that any risks to the safety and wellbeing of patients and staff are minimized. As the Wound Nurse, this individual would be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing complex wounds, ostomies, and continence conditions. This includes developing personalized care plans, performing specialized treatments and preventing skin breakdown by educating residents, families, and staff.
