Infection Control Prevention Nurse
About The Position

Requirements
- Have a current state LPN License.
- Follow State regulations as well as company policies and guidelines.
- Must pass criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- 1-year experience as an LPN, in a community-based care setting (preferred).
- LPN students who meet certain criteria may be considered for this position!
Responsibilities
- Infection control training course with certification (provided)
- Manage infection control program
- On Call requirement
- Ongoing education and training of staff
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Document any change in patients’ condition, notify Physician, supervisor and document
- Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
