About The Position
Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infection Control Nurse. This leadership role oversees the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program while coordinating staff education to promote a safe environment for our residents and employees.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Nice To Haves
- Infection control experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
- Staff education or staff development experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program.
- Monitor infection trends, maintain required documentation, and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention policies, isolation procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate staff education, orientation, and ongoing in-service training.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing on quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
