About The Position

This role is for a Nurse Manager of Infection Control at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, days. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Infection Prevention Program, including planning, development, and implementation of operational objectives, goals, and processes. They will establish and ensure compliance with infection prevention policies and procedures to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role involves managing recruitment, staff development, performance management, and the development and achievement of department operating and capital budgets.

Requirements

Certification specializing in Infection Control credentialed from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
Must be credentialed by Certification Board of Infection Control (CBIC).
Must have at least 3 years of RN experience in Infection Control.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the Infection Prevention Program.
Manage the planning, development and implementation of the overall operational objectives, goals and processes.
Establish and assure compliance of infection prevention policies and procedures to meet all accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Manage recruitment, interview, selection, retention, staff development and performance management processes for the staff of assigned departments.
Manage the development of department operating and capital budgets and achievement of financial goals.
