Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a dedicated Infection Control and Prevention Specialist to join our clinical team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support and guide infection prevention efforts across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and best practices. The Infection Control and Prevention Specialist is responsible for monitoring, advising, and supporting infection control practices in alignment with PHS policies and procedures. This role works collaboratively with clinical teams to promote a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The Infection Control and Prevention Specialist is responsible for implementing the infection prevention and control program and education. The Infection Control and Prevention Specialist uses clinical knowledge and specialized training to coordinate, deliver and maintain efficient and effective infection prevention and control programs and conducts infection control research and serves as a consultant to other departments to ensure compliance with evidence-based infection control standards. The Infection Control and Prevention Specialist provides clinical education to employees with the goal of providing services excellence and decreasing the risk of infectious disease transmission.
