About The Position

This role involves assisting in an infant and toddler classroom, focusing on creating a safe and nurturing environment. The position requires developing age-appropriate lessons aligned with the High Scope Curriculum, supporting children's social and emotional growth, and building positive relationships with families and staff. The assistant teacher will ensure children are well-cared for, maintain professionalism, and work collaboratively to meet individual child needs. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40lbs and walk for approximately 30 minutes with children in strollers. Compliance with program and state/local policies is essential.

Requirements

Ability to physically lift and possibly carry a 40lbs child (as needed).
Ability to walk about 30 minutes around the neighboring park with children in strollers.
Comply and abide by the program and state/local officials' policies.
