About The Position

At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers, we believe the toddler years are filled with exciting opportunities for growth, discovery, and learning. We are actively seeking a caring, energetic and reliable Assistant Toddler teacher to support a safe and engaging classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore. Working alongside the Lead teacher, you will help implement age-appropriate learning activities utilizing the High Scope curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners every day!

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Reliable transportation
Consent to Background screening including fingerprinting
You must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
CPR certification is required for all teaching staff but may be obtained within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with Toddlers in the classroom setting is preferred
Prior experience with High Scope Curriculum a plus
Possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

Support a safe and engaging classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore.
Implement age-appropriate learning activities utilizing the High Scope curriculum.
Work alongside the Lead teacher.
