About The Position
This position involves implementing the EHS curriculum, assessment, and Head Start Performance Standards for Early Head Start classrooms. The role requires preparing daily lesson plans in advance that include both indoor and outdoor activities. These plans should be individualized and based on the infants/toddlers' own needs, interests, and schedules. The position also includes family-style meals and other appropriate elements, incorporating multicultural education materials and activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Detail and multi-task oriented.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to cope with stress.
- Able to engage in strenuous physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Two years experience working with families and young children preferred.
