About The Position
Discovery Kidzone is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our team at DKZ West in Bozeman. No previous childcare experience is required. Paid training and ongoing support are provided! Whether you're an experienced educator or just beginning your career in early childhood education, we'll help you build the skills and confidence you need to succeed.
Requirements
- At least 16 years old
- Passion for working with infants and toddlers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, dependable, and organized
- Comfortable learning and working in a team environment
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to complete all required Montana licensing and training requirements
Nice To Haves
- Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime
- Prepare bottles and follow proper food storage and sanitation procedures
- Create engaging learning experiences through music, sensory play, books, movement, and hands-on exploration
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development
- Observe and document children's daily activities and developmental milestones
- Communicate professionally with families about children's routines, progress, and milestones
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to provide exceptional care and learning experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
