About The Position

Magical Beginnings is seeking a Certified Infant Toddler Teacher for its Plymouth center. This role involves leading a classroom of infant and toddlers, guiding them through developmental milestones with patience and positivity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young learners. Magical Beginnings focuses on creating a magical time of discovery, wonder, and rapid development for toddlers, with a deep commitment to care.

Requirements

• EEC Infant Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience.
• Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting.
• Patience, positive energy, and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals.
• Flexibility to work 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.
• Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday.
• Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with a co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials.
• Supporting social-emotional development and early learning milestones through play-based, age-appropriate activities.
• Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment.
• Assisting with daily routines, including toilet training, diapering, meals, outdoor time, and naptime.
• Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments.
• Maintaining EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry.
• Helping toddlers build independence, language, and confidence.
