About The Position

Are you passionate about strengthening early care and education across Central Oregon? We're seeking a dedicated Infant Toddler Program Coach to provide intensive, individualized coaching and consultation to early educators and program leadership within Child Care Resources' Baby Promise programs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field (human development, human growth and development, child and family studies, or education) required
  • Step 10+ on the Oregon Registry required, or ability to achieve Step 10+ within 1 year
  • One year of experience coaching and supporting adult professional development required
  • Minimum three years of direct service in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education required
  • Minimum three years of direct infant and toddler-aged classroom teaching experience in Early Childhood Care and Education required
  • Ability to work varied hours, including some evenings and weekends required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proof of current auto insurance
  • Enrollment in the Central Background Registry
  • Access to reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Infant Mental Health Certificate preferred
  • Knowledge of community child care programs, subsidies, community resources, and state regulations pertaining to child care preferred
  • Knowledge of child assessment and screening tools preferred, including: Teaching Strategies Gold, CLASS Observation and QRIS Tool, Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool, Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ), Ages and Stages Questionnaire-Social Emotional (ASQ:SE), ERS (Environment Rating Scales) Tool
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement coaching and continuous quality improvement (CQI) in Child Care Resources' Baby Promise programs in Central Oregon.
  • Provide intensive, individualized coaching and consultation to early educators and early education program leadership, aligned with Baby Promise program expectations, policies, and the Baby Promise Guidebook.
  • Drive program-wide quality improvement efforts across the continuum of care.
  • Blend one-on-one instructional coaching with data-informed quality improvement work, including CQI planning, ERS and Spark-based observation, and technical assistance at the Universal, Targeted, and Intensive levels.
  • Provide both individualized support and large group training.
  • Conduct professional development planning for the Oregon Registry.
  • Work closely with Baby Promise participants and community partners to improve the quality of early care and education in Central Oregon.
