About The Position

At the Primrose School of Woburn, we have built something different for infant teachers. We offer a supportive environment where teachers work alongside an equal partner in every classroom, with shared ownership and decision-making. A dedicated support teacher ensures classroom consistency by covering breaks, planning time, and days off. Each teacher is paired with an education coach for daily support, resources, and professional growth. Planning time is provided during work hours, and all classroom materials and supplies are fully provided, so teachers do not incur out-of-pocket expenses.

Requirements

Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification required.
Full-time availability required.
A calm, nurturing, dependable presence in the classroom.
Strong communication skills with families and co-teachers.
A commitment to safety, consistency, and high-quality infant care.

Nice To Haves

Experienced infant teacher.
Experience working with infants in a licensed early childhood setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach alongside an equal partner in a co-teaching model.
Make decisions together with co-teacher and support each other throughout the day.
Create a calm, consistent environment for infants.
Work with a dedicated support teacher who covers breaks, planning time, and days off.
Receive daily support from a dedicated education coach for professional growth and success.
Conduct planning during work hours on the clock.
Provide relationship-building, responsive caregiving, and developmental support for infants.
Communicate effectively with families.
Create a safe, nurturing environment for infant growth.
Manage infant routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and safe sleep practices.
Maintain classroom cleanliness.
Communicate daily with families about their child's progress.
Ensure safety, consistency, and high-quality infant care.
