About The Position

Inspire the Youngest Learners as an Infant Teacher At The Learning Experience® (TLE) in Midlothian, VA , we bring joy, discovery, and growth to every stage of early childhood education. Our Infant Teachers create a safe, nurturing daycare environment where babies (6 weeks–12 months) feel loved, supported, and ready to explore the world around them. At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow. Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff. At TLE®, we’ve created a full cast of characters that become our little learners’ educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.

Requirements

A genuine love for babies and a passion for early childhood education.
Experience in a childcare or daycare setting preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Ability to meet Virginia state licensing requirements for Infant Teachers, including background checks and training.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, individualized care and attention to infants.
Support early milestones through sensory play and meaningful interaction.
Follow each child’s feeding, diapering, and nap schedule consistently.
Communicate daily with families about progress and routines.
Implement The Learning Experience® L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to encourage curiosity and emotional development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment alongside your teaching team.
