About The Position
The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking a part-time Infant Teacher to support afternoon routines and end-of-day transitions in our infant classroom. This role helps maintain a calm and nurturing environment during pickup hours while supporting classroom continuity. This position is ideal for candidates seeking a consistent afternoon schedule working with young learners.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prior childcare experience required
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with infants preferred
Responsibilities
- Support infant classroom routines for children ages 6 weeks to 12 months
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and transitions during afternoon hours
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Support ratio coverage and dismissal routines
- Communicate professionally with families during pickup
- Follow Virginia licensing and safety requirements
