About The Position
We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dedicated Lead Teacher to lead our Infant Classroom and create a safe, engaging environment where little learners can thrive. In this role, you'll help infants build confidence, explore the world around them, and reach new milestones every day—all while partnering with families and a supportive team that shares your passion for early childhood education.
Requirements
- Experience working with infants (6 weeks–16 months), preferably in a lead teaching role
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Availability to work within our operating hours of 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) the free 15-hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification before orientation
- Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) First Aid/CPR certification
- A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
Nice To Haves
- Early Childhood Education coursework or related education preferred
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Foster a safe, clean, organized, and nurturing classroom environment
- Support daily care routines, including feeding, diapering, and transitions
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Observe and document developmental milestones and classroom progress
- Serve as a positive role model through professionalism, leadership, and teamwork
