About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented Infant Lead Teacher for the Infant classroom at The Malvern School of Washington Township. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday. The teacher will plan, supervise, and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy. The role involves maintaining a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class and communicating regularly with parents, in person and through technology, to meet or exceed parent expectations.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
