About The Position

We are seeking a feeding therapist to join our Infant Therapy team. This position will provide evaluation and treatment of feeding skills for outpatient and/or inpatient infants 0-12 months of age with a variety of diagnoses. Therapists applying should have skills in pre-feeding activities, initiating and progressing bottle and breastfeeding, managing oral feeding programs in tube fed infants, transitioning from tube to oral feeding, and introduction of solids foods. Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists will be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy from an accredited university (for OT/PT).
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university (for SLP).
  • Experience in pediatric diagnostic or treatment settings (for SLP).
  • Current Washington State license to practice as a physical or occupational therapist (for OT/PT).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (for SLP).
  • Washington State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (for SLP).
  • BLS (for OT/PT).

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric hospital experience.
  • Functional knowledge of a second language.
