About The Position

The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers in our infant program at our Murray Hill location. Requirements

• An assistant teacher must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
• Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom

Benefits

• Twenty-Seven (27) paid personal days (Yes 27!!!) per year as follows: Ten (10) paid personal days per calendar year
• Five (5) paid personal days between Christmas and New Year's Day when the school is closed
• Seven (7) paid holidays per calendar year.
• Five (5) sick days per year (available to all employees, accrual starts with no waiting period)
