About The Position
The Learning Experience – Brooklyn (Bed-Stuy / Bushwick) is seeking a dependable Infant Assistant Teacher to support daily routines in our infant classroom. This role helps create a nurturing environment where infants feel secure while developing early communication and sensory skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Must meet New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Experience working with infants strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Support feeding, diapering, and nap routines
- Assist with classroom activities and sensory learning experiences
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Support supervision and transitions throughout the day
- Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
- Follow all NYC health, safety, and licensing requirements
