Requirements

BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
10+ years in application engineering, technical project work, or maintenance engineering
Strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing process knowledge, CRM proficiency
Strategic thinking, condition monitoring and maintenance strategy knowledge, strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Build and sustain SKF preference and brand loyalty through value-based technical support
Develop trusted relationships with end-users and Authorized Distributors to uncover needs and influence specifications
Provide product installation assistance, troubleshooting, and on-site failure analysis
Maintain strong knowledge of customer manufacturing processes to provide consultative technical support
Deliver internal and external training for end-users and Authorized Distributors
Support Territory Managers by mapping bearings, seals, and services to identify growth opportunities
Partner with Territory Managers to execute territory growth plans and advance qualified pipelines
Introduce new product launches to end-user customers
Support projects that create cost savings for key end-users and distributors
Enable Authorized Distributors through joint calls, training, and application support
Provide bearing and sealing recommendations as part of application reviews
Support the full SKF product and service portfolio
Frequent interaction with end-user customers and Authorized Distributors. Acts as a technical escalation resource supporting sales teams.
Works closely with Territory Managers, Distributor Sales teams, Product Management, and Engineering.
Supports process improvement, opportunity pipeline advancement, and technical validation to drive profitable growth.
Documents technical actions, supports opportunity reviews, and communicates findings to sales leadership and internal teams.
