About The Position

The Industrialization Technician supports Oakley’s Industrialization engineers and helps transition products from initial proof of concept and process development through engineering pilots, laboratory testing, and codification. The role works with engineers to verify that designs and processes meet technical requirements by routing and tracking materials, samples, and test results through development stages. The technician manages multiple projects using a central task-planning system and performs engineering pilot builds, fixture builds and testing, process troubleshooting, and laboratory evaluation of lenses and eyewear. The role operates engineering sampling and quality-lab equipment, documents test results, and communicates status to stakeholders. It also supports engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions; coordinates material procurement, shipments, preparation, and consumables; and works with downstream customer teams on continuous improvement of products, processes, production technologies, and methodologies.
