About The Position

As Industrialization Lead in the EV Externally Purchased Power Unit group, your responsibilities will include supporting Design Competitions to optimize costs and ensure program profitability, managing milestone cadence within GPDS parameters, leading milestone assessments, communication documents and reporting up to Director levels, collecting and entering Integrator assessments, leading TPMT (Transmission Product Management Team) for your commodity, overseeing commodity timing to align with program schedules, developing actionable work plans to address commodity issues, escalating as needed up thru director level, acting as the primary point of contact for Power Unit matters in Program PMT meetings, managing the commodity financials, coordinating with Purchasing, Systems Engineering, Finance, and managing BOM/FEDE-BOM and supporting WERS release activities. The same responsibilities apply to the BEV Externally Purchased Power Unit group.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of the program delivery process or comparable development process
  • 5+ years of Automotive experience, working cross functionally to develop new technology
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to motivate both internal teams and external partners to deliver products on time, within budget, with high quality and meeting all function specs
  • Strong communication skills, program control skills which can drive the deliverables hardly and effectively
  • Proven problem-solving skills to address commodity issues and effectively communicate solutions and status to upper management

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Business Administration (considered)
  • Knowledge of Power Unit function and controls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Ford-specific applications like WERS, Integrator, and FEDE

Responsibilities
