About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or methods engineering within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience industrializing complex ETO/CTO or high-mix products from engineering release to production, including process definition, routings, work instructions, tooling, capacity assessment, and production readiness.
  • Strong manufacturing process expertise in fabrication, CNC programming/nesting, sheet metal, mechanical assembly, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems and quality methodologies, including MES/PLM/ERP integration, APQP, PFMEA, control plans, and structured manufacturing quality systems.
  • Proven leadership and continuous improvement capability, with experience leading technical teams, driving cross-functional execution, and improving performance through Lean, standard work, labor optimization, and process discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end industrialization of new products, customer configurations, and engineering changes from design release to stable production.
  • Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) with Product Engineering to ensure products are manufacturable, cost-effective, and scalable.
  • Develop manufacturing readiness plans including processes, tooling, equipment, capacity, resources, risks, and launch milestones.
  • Assess manufacturing capacity requirements and define labor, equipment, footprint, and capital investment needs to support growth.
  • Lead Manufacturing Methods activities to establish robust routings, work instructions, process documentation, labor standards, and ERP/MES data accuracy.
  • Manage Nesting and CNC Programming activities to optimize material utilization, fabrication efficiency, scrap reduction, and production responsiveness.
  • Coordinate pilot builds and production ramp-ups by aligning Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
  • Own manufacturing readiness reviews and production release decisions, ensuring processes meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Implement engineering changes into production by ensuring impacts on processes, documentation, tooling, and capacity are addressed.
  • Build scalable industrialization practices by standardizing methods, capturing lessons learned, and continuously improving launch performance.
