About The Position

Air Technologies, a premier provider of Mechanical/ HVAC Services in the greater Oklahoma City area, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Industrial Welder to join our Oklahoma City, OK service team! Our ideal candidate will have experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding, and be comfortable working with steel, copper, and other piping materials. Attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics are essential. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Commercial Welding Experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of the HVAC and Plumbing Industry.
• Great attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Great communication skills.
• Strong relationship building skills; customer focused and disciplined.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Comfortable working with steel, copper, and other piping materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various metals including steel, stainless steel, and copper.
• Assemble, install, and repair piping systems and structural components as specified in project plans.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Operate welding tools and equipment safely, following all company and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with project managers, plumbers, and HVAC technicians to complete installations efficiently and on schedule.
