About The Position

Arcadis’ Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization (IWTO) team is seeking an entry-level wastewater process engineer to support the design of industrial water and wastewater treatment plants. The role includes developing engineering drawings, calculations, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), specifications, technical reports, and equipment selections. The engineer will manage small to medium design tasks with guidance from IWTO process engineers, senior engineers, and subject matter experts. Projects may involve front-end treatment concept development, detailed design of industrial wastewater treatment systems, water conservation, nutrient removal, sustainability, and pollution prevention. The position also includes site visits during multiple project phases for equipment evaluation, process testing and troubleshooting, construction inspection and observations, commissioning, and other field work. The role offers an entry into potential advancement in project management, client development, seller/doer work, and technical direction. This is a hybrid position. Client facilities and projects are located throughout the United States, with some international assignments. The position is open in Houston and Dallas, Texas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Novi, Michigan; Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Atlanta, Georgia; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
