About The Position

The Industrial Vacuum Truck Operator handles, positions, moves, and manipulates equipment and materials to complete industrial services. The role drives and operates liquid vacuum trucks and/or air mover vehicles and assists with setting up cleaning equipment, including high-pressure pumps, in-service line hydro-blasting equipment, and tank-cleaning equipment such as hoses and pumps. The operator completes safety paperwork and follows operational training, guidelines, and procedures. Work is performed around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous industrial environments. Before each job, the operator helps inspect equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and the general work area, and reports deficiencies that could cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity to the crew lead or supervisor. Compensation is commensurate with education or work experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class B CDL; Class A is preferred.
Tanker endorsement required or must be obtained shortly after hire.
No automatic restriction; must be legally permitted to operate a manual-shift truck.
