Mid States Materials LLC. is seeking an Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator for a temporary full-time position from 10/1/26 to 12/15/2026. The role involves operating industrial trucks or tractors to move materials around various locations such as warehouses, storage yards, factories, and construction sites. Daily travel to job sites across multiple counties in Kansas (Shawnee, Douglas, Jefferson, Osage, Franklin, Lyon, Wabaunsee, Geary, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Brown, Nemaha) is required. The job involves lifting and carrying 50 pounds, with some overtime and weekend work expected. The standard workday is 8 hours, with hours potentially varying within Monday-Friday, 7 am-6 pm. This position is being advertised in connection with future filing for H2B labor certification. Workers must be eligible to work in the USA and available for the entire work period. The employer will reimburse transportation and subsistence costs for workers who complete 50% of the contract, and cover reasonable return transportation and subsistence costs upon completion of the contract or earlier dismissal (unless the worker finds subsequent employment or abandons the job). Daily subsistence during travel will be at least $16.78 per day, up to $68.00 per day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other government-mandated fees (excluding passport fees) in the first workweek. The employer agrees to offer work for at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12-week period.
