About The Position

Ansell is looking for an Industrial Territory Sales Manager (Atlantic Provinces) to join their team. This role is responsible for all sales activities within the Atlantic Provinces. The overall objective is to develop, maintain, and grow the territory-level sales of all Industrial, Single Use and Body Protection products and services to all end user customers and managing the relationship and profitable growth of their strategic distribution partners. This role will require frequent travel within the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications, experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM program highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
  • Strong sense of accountability managing this territory.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • This role will require frequent travel within the territory and across North America. Overnight travel will vary by territory from 10 – 65%.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver solutions to our customers that improve worker safety.
  • Deliver profitable sales growth, increase market penetration in the territory as well as build and execute strategic territory growth plans with Distributor partners and end users.
  • Maintain an open opportunity pipeline greater than $1.2M.
  • Effectively analyze sales data to inform strategic sales plan.
  • Effectively market and launch new Ansell Protective products and programs.
  • Collaborate with National Account Managers and Channel Development Managers on initiatives.
  • Conduct territory business within assigned expense budget.
  • Educate distributor salespeople on the Ansell go-to-market strategy and leverage distribution to drive Ansell Guardian initiatives with targeted end-user accounts.
  • Create and administer contracts throughout the year as new contracts are created and as existing contracts are renewed or cancelled.
  • Update and maintain all customer information, top customer activities, new opportunity pipeline and key closes using Ansell’s CRM system Salesforce.com in a timely manner.
