About The Position

The Industrial Technological Benefits Analyst will support the manager of Industrial & Technological Benefit (ITB) with the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of ITB Management and Offset Plans, subsidiary plans, and deliverables. This role involves assisting with the management of BAE Systems’ Offset process, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and translating offset objectives into action plans to achieve all offset commitments. The analyst will also support the generation of internal management briefings on offset status, help create external offset reports, and develop sources of ITB credits through engagement with government agencies, key suppliers, and defence & marine industry associations. The position is within the Commercial team, a small, close-knit group in the commercial sector, involving engagement with stakeholders across the wider business and collaboration on multiple short-term/long-term projects with the UK team and Canadian government. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

Requirements

• General knowledge of offset principles
• Exceptional business acumen and understanding of business transactions (e.g. purchase orders, licensing, technology transfer etc.)
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to solve issues
• Attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint and an ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze multiple sources of data
• Customer Relationship Management skills
