About The Position

Supervisors are responsible for planning Safety, Quality, Schedules and Customer Satisfaction for each project they are assigned. They also may be required to work on their tools if crew size is small. Required to manage a crew of men as dispatched by Operations. Singular or multiple crews could be required, as well as multiple supervisors. The Supervisor in charge of paperwork will be the Supervisor in charge of the total project. The Supervisor will follow the Estimators general guidelines as estimated. Any deviations from the Estimators plan must be communicated and agreed upon with the Estimator. This is especially true with changes in the scope of work which are generated by the customer or other outside forces. The Supervisor must receive the Estimator's summarized plan before the initial start of work. The Estimator and the Supervisor are both responsible for this communication that should take place in a timely manner for early proper planning. The plan will include (but not limited to) the labor breakdown with schedules to complete, equipment estimated and materials required (with subs included). Other expenses would be included at this time. Supervisors must provide any and all forms required for any particular project. Timesheets, all Safety forms, Tracking Forms, Change Orders, Purchasing forms, etc. All forms must be filled out on a timely basis and in a legible manner. Signatures required by the Customer is a must. See General and Policy book. Supervisors report to the assigned Estimator for individual projects and the Operations Manager for all other issues. Supervisors will provide business development as appropriate with relationships he or she develops on the individual job sites and report any and all opportunities to the estimator.

  • Providing any and all forms required for any particular project (Timesheets, Safety forms, Tracking Forms, Change Orders, Purchasing forms, etc.).
  • Ensuring all forms are filled out on a timely basis and in a legible manner.
  • Obtaining required Customer signatures.
  • Providing business development as appropriate with relationships developed on job sites.
  • Reporting any and all opportunities to the estimator.
