INDUSTRIAL SEWING - Pool Safety Covers
About The Position
Tara Pools & Manufacturing is a family-owned company with 110+ employees, specializing in vinyl pool liners, safety covers, and shade structures. For over four decades, we’ve built our reputation on quality craftsmanship, innovation, and strong partnerships with our distributors and dealers. As we continue to expand, we’re adding to our team and looking for individuals who want to grow with us in a company that values people, performance, and taking pride in our work. We are seeking a full-time Production Specialilst to join our shades manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role that includes industrial sewing, fabric cutting, measuring, assembly, quality inspection, and packaging. We’re looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Requirements
- Able to lift and move materials up to 40–50 lbs
- Comfortable standing/walking for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and basic measuring skills
- Ability to follow written instructions and production paperwork
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Sewing or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble shade products
- Cut and prepare fabric (training provided)
- Read production paperwork and follow measurements accurately
- Assemble hardware kits and prepare orders for shipping
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Package and label completed products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
