About The Position

Responsible for seaming pre-cut patterns together, following precise instructions. Must be able to sew pre-sewn pieces together to form a complete part.

• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriate.
• Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.

Responsibilities

• Use and maintain a high-speed, walking foot sewing machine.
• Communicate with managers and leads effectively.
• Trim finished seams when necessary.
• Use scissors.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Follow instructions of the Supervisor/foreman/lead.
• Work with a team to complete projects.
• Inspect all parts to be complete and up to quality standards.
• Comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.
• Perform tasks under time pressure deadlines.
