As an Industrial Security Manager – Level 2 located in Aurora or Englewood, CO, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. The Industrial Security Manager – Level 2 will serve as a Special Security Manager and oversee all security activities and operations for the special program portfolio, including guiding briefed/non-briefed personnel across all functions. Candidate will be interfacing with internal and external leadership personnel and must have the ability to successfully manage competing priorities. The selected candidate will manage a Security Team onsite and regularly collaborate with colleagues across multiple locations. They will ensure security compliance with government and company regulations and strive for excellence in executing security milestones. This position requires maintaining program security metrics and successfully managing competing priorities. The selected candidate will have the responsibility of developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified and proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance with a CI Polygraph at time of application
- Minimum of two years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience
- Must have in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements

Responsibilities
- Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
- Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
- Prepare manuals outlining regulations, establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and grants personnel and visitors access to restricted documents and materials
- Develop and implement security education program
- Oversee internal security audits
- Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
- Provide direction to security team members to assist with executing their statement of work
- Assist with team members' professional development and growth
- Lead a team of security professionals to consistently apply the leadership characteristics expected of all employees within the organization
- Ensure employee engagement across the team
- Collaborate across teams within the organization
- Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels
- Develop and implement security policy and standards across the programs
- Ensure all program performance objectives, as well as key milestones and deliverables, are met
- Manage program security compliance and operations
