About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Industrial Security Manager to join their team in Kent, WA; Tukwila, WA; or El Segundo, CA. This position will be part of the Boeing Enterprise Classified Security (ECS) supporting Phantom Works programs and employees. The role involves managing and ensuring the flawless execution of classified security programs at SCI, SAP, and other restricted or proprietary levels, achieving all operational goals. The manager will lead and mentor employees, perform security administration to protect information, conduct security inquiries, oversee compliance assessments, implement security controls, and protect personnel, information, and equipment. This includes studying and implementing federal security regulations, obtaining interpretations from government agencies, and developing/maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders. The position also provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, and assists with team members' professional development.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
5+ years of experience with Industrial Security
3+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP) access
Willing to submit to and successfully pass a U.S. Government-administered polygraph examination
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: SAP and/or SCI
2+ years of experience with Project Management
2+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense and/or Aerospace environment
2+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers
