About The Position

Aerospace Composite Center, LLC Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Security Manager to join the Aerospace Composite Center (ACC) team in Hazelwood, MO. This position manages employees performing activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, including security inquiries, compliance assessments and implementation of security controls. The role involves developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures, and setting operational goals. It also includes acquiring resources for projects and processes, providing technical management of suppliers, and leading process improvements. The manager will develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports, and provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Additionally, the role involves managing, developing, and motivating employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Facility Security Officer (FSO) or a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO)
  • Experience guiding decision making in a cross-functional teaming environment
  • Experience working with MS Office Suite, such as Word, Excel and MS Project
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
  • Awareness of classified information handling requirements
  • Professional Certification in SAP Security, SCI Administration, ICD-705, JSIG/RMF, COMSEC, or any other related security certifications
  • Experience as a CPSO working in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment
  • Experience working processing or supporting CSSO or CPSO program access paperwork to include PAR, PSQ, SF-86 or DD147 forms
  • Experience conducting investigations and/or audits
