About The Position

We are currently hiring experienced Temporary Industrial Security Guards to join our team at an industrial facility in Brazeau County, Alberta. This is a temporary assignment of approximately one month, with reliable work hours and competitive wages. Candidates must be able to travel to Drayton Valley, as transportation to and from the worksite will be provided by crew truck. Hotel accommodations and a Living Out Allowance (LOA) are provided.

Requirements

Valid Alberta Security Services Worker License
Minimum one year of industrial security experience
Valid Class 5 driver's license with no more than six demerits
Standard First Aid with CPR certification
CSTS certification
Ability to travel to Drayton Valley for crew transportation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Experience using electronic access control or badging systems

Responsibilities

Conducting regular patrols of the site
Monitoring surveillance systems and site security
Managing access control and verifying authorized personnel
Reporting security concerns, hazards, incidents, and policy violations
Directing vehicle traffic as required
Completing Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs), Daily Occurrence Reports (DORs), and Incident Reports
Inspecting company vehicles and reporting maintenance requirements
Monitoring building and equipment controls
Following all site policies, procedures, and safety standards
Arriving on time and communicating promptly if unable to report for duty
Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
