About The Position

Westfield Electroplating Company is seeking an experienced or entry level Industrial Sandblaster to support the day-to-day 1st shift sandblasting duties within our Production Department. This job requires the manual operation of our sandblasting equipment/cabinets, loading customer parts, and quality control to meet customer order specifications. The successful candidate must demonstrate attention to detail, good time management skills, work independently without supervision, and possess good oral and written communication skills. This candidate must have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment with management and production staff.

Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
Must manually operate nozzle through glove fitted cabinets.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with management and production staff.
Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

3-5 years of sandblasting experience

Responsibilities

Examine parts to ensure the removal of adhering scale, paint, rust, oxides and any other surface imperfections to order specification.
