About The Position

The Industrial Sandblaster & Painter prepares, abrasive-blasts, and applies protective coatings to manufactured metal components in a fast-paced production environment. The position works a Monday–Friday schedule, with training during the first month from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and a regular schedule from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $24.95.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, industrial painting, coating application, or sandblasting.
• Ability to work in a physically active environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Comfortable wearing respirators, blast suits, and other safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Industrial painting experience.
• Sandblasting or abrasive blasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation on metal components.
• Apply industrial coatings, paints, and protective finishes.
• Mix paints, coatings, and related materials according to specifications.
• Verify coating thickness and quality standards.
