The Industrial Sales Representative will possess an expert level of product knowledge and applications to resolve customer issues, acting as a liaison between sales staff, outside parties, operations, and headquarters. The position involves supporting new and existing customers to increase business, generating new sales leads, following up on customer satisfaction, troubleshooting lubricant opportunities, handling customer complaints, providing lubrication education and oil analysis interpretation, assisting with sales planning and forecasting, managing change for continuous improvement, developing customer relations, gathering data from other departments for communication, and creating plant lubrication surveys.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with existing managers & reps to support new & existing customers to increase customer business.
  • Generates & processes new sales leads as necessary.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction of products & services.
  • Troubleshoot prospective and current customer base lubricant opportunities.
  • Deals with customer complaints & resolves issues as necessary.
  • Provide ongoing support, including lubrication education, to sales team as well as customers.
  • Provide oil analysis interpretation for both internal & external customers.
  • Work with sales for planning, forecasting and taking care of customer needs.
  • Manage and implement change to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain customer relations.
  • Gather data from other departments to help ensure communication throughout sales organization.
  • Create and provide plant lubrication surveys.
