About The Position

JLL is seeking an Industrial Property Management (IPM) Lead to lead their Industrial property management team in Central / North Texas. This position will manage teams throughout the region and will have overall responsibility for the industrial property management business in the Central / North Texas Region. The role reports locally to the Regional Manager with matrix reporting to the head of US industrial property management. Key priorities include leading the industrial property management team, developing and implementing best-in-class industrial property management practices, and growing the industrial property management business in the region. This position will also take a national leadership role on the industrial property management team and will represent JLL to its national and local client base, balancing the delivery of an industry-leading property management platform with selling those services. The IPM Lead will have a national client relationship management (CRM) role and significant client interaction. The role requires strong leadership, multi-tasking, flexibility, exceptional people management, and accountability for portfolio results. Responsibilities include approving key client and internal deliverables (budgets, financial reports), collaborating with leasing, investment sales, and other business line partners, initiating business development and retention initiatives, leveraging and developing team members through delegation, and driving innovation through technology to simplify business, improve relationships, and empower teams. The IPM Lead will contribute to establishing and refining work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices, and developing successful, diverse teams through inclusive communication, hiring, and career development practices. Strengthening strategic partnerships with clients, pitching new business proposals, and delivering innovative solutions to expand market footprint are also key. Active engagement in the commercial real estate industry and leadership roles in industry/community organizations are expected to raise JLL's profile and build relationships. The role emphasizes a people-focused approach, understanding the needs of clients and team members, managing client and vendor relationships for seamless conflict resolution, account maintenance, and client development. The position is located in Central / North Texas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required.
  • Exceptionally strong leadership skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years of commercial real estate experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the property management business, building systems, lease negotiations, documentation and administration.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations, and other types of related financial deliverables.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required.
  • Proven track record in business development.
  • Proficient in MS Office products and property management software (Yardi preferred).
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively organize responsibilities to achieve portfolio goals and objectives.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of property management technology tools.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
