About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Painter with experience using a pressure pot system to apply paint and protective coatings to metal components. The ideal candidate has knowledge of surface preparation, spray painting techniques, and paint application standards, and maintains quality and safety in a manufacturing environment. The position offers first, second, and third shifts.
Requirements
- Experience using an industrial pressure pot system.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, spray painting techniques, and paint application standards.
- Dependable and detail-oriented.
- Able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Operate an industrial pressure pot system to apply paint and protective coatings.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and removing rust or debris.
- Mix paint and coatings according to specifications.
- Adjust spray equipment to achieve proper coverage and finish quality.
- Inspect finished products for consistent coverage, defects, and overall quality.
- Follow paint specifications and production requirements.
- Clean and maintain spray guns, pressure pots, hoses, and related equipment.
- Follow safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, and chemicals.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
