About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join a manufacturing team. The role involves preparing metal surfaces, mixing paints to specifications, and applying paint using industrial spray equipment. The Industrial Painter inspects finished surfaces for quality and compliance, handles painting materials safely, maintains an organized work area, and supports team production goals. The role may involve painting from ladders or elevated positions.

Requirements

• Previous industrial painting or metal painting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to prepare metal surfaces and apply paint to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes.
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Ability to safely operate spray equipment and use respirators, personal protective equipment, and ladders.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment and performing painting tasks from ladders or elevated positions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and production standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating pressure pots and conventional spray equipment in a production environment is highly preferred.
• Experience with spray painting equipment, pressure pots, conventional spray guns, and paint mixing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and blend paints to meet specifications for color, texture, viscosity, and consistency.
• Apply paint to metal surfaces using pressure pots, conventional spray guns, and other industrial painting equipment.
• Prepare, clean, and finish metal surfaces to promote paint adhesion and quality.
• Inspect painted surfaces for coverage, finish quality, and defects.
• Measure paint thickness and verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Safely handle, store, and maintain paints, chemicals, and painting supplies.
• Monitor paint and supply inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
• Follow safety procedures, including proper use of respirators and required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist team members and support daily production goals as needed.
