About The Position

The Industrial Painter will perform powder-coating work in North Salt Lake City, Utah. The schedule is a day shift from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, working four 10-hour shifts and having a three-day weekend. Pay is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay. The posting also refers to the role as Painter – Powder Coater and Painter Helper.

Requirements

• Comfort using basic hand and power tools, including painting tools.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Dependability and punctuality, and willingness to learn new skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of shop safety practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with different metal powder-coating tools and techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use powder-coating tools and techniques.
• Clean and prepare work areas, tools, and machinery for daily operations.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Dispose of scrap materials and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
