About The Position
The Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing and applying industrial coatings to metal and other surfaces in a production environment. This Industrial Painter role involves using conventional and airless spray equipment while ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. The ideal Industrial Painter has experience in a paint booth environment and can maintain consistent, high-quality finishes in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial painting experience preferred , especially in a paint booth
- Experience using conventional and airless spray equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
- Knowledge of industrial coatings and surface preparation techniques
- Commitment to following safety procedures and workplace standards
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials, surfaces, and structures for coatings
- Apply industrial coatings using conventional and airless spray equipment
- Adjust spray gun nozzles to ensure proper paint dispersion
- Monitor paint flow and viscosity for consistent finishes
- Clean and maintain paint lines, spray guns, and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on painting equipment
- Regulate temperature and air circulation in drying ovens
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures
- Multitask while meeting production requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
